I don't have anything in the machine right now, so to speak.  I'm getting ready to make winter clothes for the kids.  Each will get:

1 pair flannel lined wool pants
2 pair flannel lined corduroy pants
1 vest
1-2 pairs of jammies

Sofi will get a jumper or two and a holiday dress.  Walter might get an extra vest if he likes it, or a pair of overalls.  He has a pair of short overalls that he loves!  I'd also love to make them some cute shirts, although I wish that there were more cute options for little boys.  It is silly for me to make t-shirts and turtlenecks when I can buy them used for less than a dollar.

Wow! That is impressive. I'm not into sewing. I love hitting up thrift stores and getting really good deals on almost new shirts.

I just get tired of the kids never having matching outfits.  For example, Sofi loves her blue plaid shorts and her blue flowered shorts, but has no shirt that matches either of them.  So, she wears them with her red flag shirt that just kind of makes my eyes cross looking at all of the colors together.  I just want them to have some nice, warm, cute, matching clothes for a while.

Oh, and since they are wearing the same size now, I'm planning on making as much as possible unisex so that they can both wear the same items!

Matching is highly overrated! I bought Bryson socks to mix up because life is too short for matching socks!

I don't care if they wear matching socks.  I care if I can look at them without getting a headache from the various colors and patterns!  Tongue

They have such wonderful taste! You should let them explore it. It is not like they are wearing polyester.

I've let her explore for a long time.  And Walter just wants to wear her pretty things.  So, unisex and matching it is!  Grin

At least Grandma still buys them ridiculous off the wall stuff to wear, so I can't totally win.  I'll have to post pics of the sweater - 100% cotton - with Santa driving a race car while the elves change his tire.  Seriously, I couldn't make these things up.

I think it might be a bit small for Bryson.

Perhaps Arrowhead could use it?

LOL! I'll verify that this sweater does exist.

I'm "working" on cloth wipes and wet bags.  (Notice how when I say I'm working on something it is always in quotes... the boy is now starting to be ok by himself for short spans of time and soon will be mobile, at which time I will remove quotes from said posts Smiley !)

I really do need to finish these darn wipes though!

Are using a machine on the cloth wipes or sewing by hand?
