Oh, we had one, but I couldn't convince Sofi to clear out old things to make room for new ones.  And other kids would come over to play and destroy it.  So, we just put a small table in their bedroom and hopefully we'll be finding some new things to put on it for Autumn.

Our table still sits empty.  *sigh*  I really want to put silks on it for a backdrop, but I don't have any autumn colored ones.  I can't wait to do the Christmas co-op on KCAP.

We collected acorns, walnuts, a few leaves, sweet gum balls, and a small piece of wood on our nature walk and put them on the nature table.  Smiley  It isn't particularly attractive looking yet, though.  I'm not good at that part yet, and the kids know they are allowed to pick things up and touch them, so they end up all moved around anyway.

What about a glass bowl for the smaller items and just laying the larger items round the bowl?

That's what we did (for different reasons- mainly that the house is still half packed and a mess.)  We took the items from our nature walk and did a nature jar in lieu of a table for the time being.  It's really cute actually!  A little glass jar full of nature-y goodness!  Teehee

Teehee  A bowl is a good idea.  I'll have to get one up there.  Smiley

I want to make a table cover and have http://images.bizrate.com/resize?sq=377&uid=1664207673 sitting in the middle of the table. Ideally it will have a felted wool seasonal picture hanging behind it.
