This is one of the first books we received at Parent/Toddler program. And it was so beautifully received at the time. I love to look back through it, remembering how Bailey & Kieran used to be babies. I love the birthday story ideas! There are great and easy to follow directions for toy making. Oh, it might just be time to re-read this one ;o)

I've got it and I keep it, because I feel like it should have a home here, but I think that by the time I got it, we were already doing so much from it that it didn't have that huge impact for me that it does for other people. I think, really, that I keep it to loan it out because it is a great book.

the last time I looked at it was when i was frustrated with owen's toilet learning. it helped me realize that there's no rush. he will learn...

Yep. No everyone learns before 4 but almost everyone is out of diapers by 5 and almost noone goes back to diapers once they have learned*
*At least for 60+ years.
